LEWIN
CUP
This Cup Competition was introduced in 1966
-1967 when local businessman Dennis Lewin, who was a prime mover
in the introduction of the League, donated the cup to the league.
The fist winners were Stakeford Artisans, run by local headmaster
Evan Martin, who is now of course a local historian.
This Competition is for FIRST DIVISION
Clubs only and is always fiercly contested. Since the Millenium,
4 different Clubs have won, an indication of the depth of competition. The current holders are Amble Pier 81.
