ACS DOBFAR CUP
This
Cup Competition is for SECOND DIVISION Clubs
and has existed under a number of names, linked to the factory
at Sleekburn.
League Chairman Ken Gray was employed at GlaxoChem in the 80's
and got them to donate the Glaxo Cup. When the factory changed
ownership in 1993, the competition became the Synpac Cup and again
a change of ownership at the factory in 2001 meant the competition
became The ACS Dobfar Cup.
In
2001 the cup was not returned by the team that held it, Quilted
Camel, so the current trophy was kindly provided by ACS Dobfar. The current holders are Alnmouth Argyle.
